Intentional Spaces for Connection

Cacao has been part of my life since childhood in Colombia.
What once was a drink for celebrations on December 7th, a special breakfast, or my grandmother’s home specialty, has become one of my most powerful tools for healing, transformation, and expansion.

Living in Guatemala for three years deepened my connection to this sacred plant. I learned about its healing properties, its role in Mayan cosmology, and the sacred way cacao is cultivated, blessed, and shared — from seed to ceremony.

The Spirit of Cacao

According to the Mayas, there is no such thing as a “Cacao Ceremony” as we know it today.
As my mentor Tyba in Colombia taught me, cacao is medicine for the heart — offered by the elders to heal grief, sadness, and disconnection, and to celebrate life in community.

These gatherings are alive with music, laughter, stories, and children playing around the fire — simple acts of joy and presence. Cacao reminds us that abundance is not something we chase, but something we remember.

Ancient Wisdom, Living Practice

Every Plant Medicine carries a Spirit.
Cacao, to me, carries the Spirit of the Mother — gentle, grounding, and deeply nourishing for our inner child.

Working with Cacao has transformed the way I live.
It has taught me to slow down, open my heart, and find the sacred in the ordinary moments of life.

The Spirit of the Mother

I use ceremonial cacao from Colombia and Guatemala as a key element in my coaching sessions, retreats, and personal rituals.
It supports focus, awareness, creativity, and helps regulate the nervous system through gentle presence.

Cacao Healing is part of my Gut–Heart–Mind Axis Method and my Alchemy of Connection Program — bridging ancient wisdom with modern embodiment practices such as:

  • Breathwork for nervous system regulation

  • Somatic movement for emotional release

  • Mindset and intention practices for grounded clarity

Together, they create a framework for living with coherence, compassion, and connection.

Cacao in My Work

What my guests experienced…

  • 2 weeks ago Paula is a super special person, a being of light. We went without expectation since it was the first time we went to a cacao ceremony and everything was very nice and special. We connected with her a lot, had very deep conversations and she made us see the emotional blocks we have. An experience we will never forget. I hope to find us again one day with Paula. 100% recommendable

  • This unique experience of ceremony with Paula was so powerful that I returned three years later to repeat the experience with her. Paula is a true healer and has so much wisdom to share. The guide breath-work to the sound of the waves was so grounding. She did an incredible job of catering the experience to your personal needs, no matter what phase of life you are in or what type of support you need. Paula’s experience was the highlight of my time in the Algarve. I will absolutely be recommending this experience to family or friends that are in the area. A gifted healer and energy worker, Paula is a true treasure!

  • While in Portugal, we joined Paula for a cacao and breathwork ceremony on the beach — with the ocean in front of us and the mountains behind. It was one of those rare experiences that feels both grounding and expansive at the same time.

Paola guided us with such warmth, wisdom, and genuine care. She was knowledgeable and deeply intuitive, creating a space that felt safe, open, and uplifting. The ceremony wasn’t just spiritual — it was enlightening, heart-opening, and truly beautiful.

We left feeling peaceful, connected, and grateful for the experience. Paola is a beautiful soul, inside and out, and we would highly recommend this ceremony to anyone visiting Portugal.

  • This was a GREAT experience and Paula was lovely! She helped us to connect with ourselves and each other in new ways. It was a great opportunity to do something different during vacation and we would highly recommend. I'll be using some of Paula's techniques and lessons in my meditation practice at home!

If you like the beach, and you practice meditation (or are curious to try it for the first time), this is an experience for you!
